Michael works in oil and pastel in the American Southwest, coastal Maine and the Canadian Maritimes. He has been an invited artist to many national plein air painting events over the years and has competed in challenging locations such as the Grand Canyon. Elected a Master Pastellist by Pastel Artists Canada in 2008, he is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society and the Pastel Society of America as well as a juried member of Oil Painters of America.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida, she went on to study for her masters in Art Education at Florida Atlantic University.  A productive daily painter who posts daily to her blog, she is an energetic resource for creativity, discovery and exploration especially in the pastel medium.

Born in Connecticut, Signori was drawn to painting from early childhood. Citing both the 19th century Tonalist and JMW Turner as inspiration, her work is less about the specific and more about the transcendental. “My goal is never to record a place, rather to understand the poetry of color through the landscape.”

Lyn is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA) and a Master’s Circle recipient of the International Association of Pastel Societies. Being an active plein air painter, she enjoys participating in plein air events, especially those that benefit anything having to do with land conservation.  Her home and studio are in the nation’s oldest city, St. Augustine, Florida.
